The investigation
Niksen is the operator a former worker accused, in writing, of pressuring him to open an LLC after he had already started working on cash terms — the cleanest documented coerced-LLC-formation case in the corpus. "At first they promised to pay in cash, then they started pressuring me to open an LLC and accept payment through it. They hinted that otherwise I wouldn't see the money at all". The worker's conclusion: "I found out they'd cheated a lot of people out of money and I left them". This is not the LLC arrangement offered as a pre-employment option. This is the LLC arrangement imposed on a worker who had already accepted cash-payment terms, backed by the threat that without compliance he would see nothing — the exact coercion pattern federal labor law is designed to prevent, documented by a worker using the verb "pressured" and the verb "hint" that means, in this context, threatened.
The wage-theft follow-up from the same worker is equally specific. "Worked there. At first they paid normally, then the underpayments started for made-up reasons, nitpicking, and threats. ART JV is a piece of shit!" — identifying the operator by the nickname used in the community (Art J = Art JV = Arthur J). The escalation pattern — normal payments, then invented deductions, then threats — matches the pretextual-deductions pattern documented at Garage Monkeys, at NBN, at Unicorn Company Group. It is not a style; it is the mechanism. Pay normally long enough that the worker commits further labor, then start deducting against fabricated grievances, then threaten when the worker objects.
The DM test of Niksen confirmed that the scheme is still the standing operation. Art J's reply to an LLC-only applicant: "LLC is not a problem. Can you call after lunch?" — immediate scheduling, no follow-up on documentation. The recruiter also asked "Who gave you my number?" — the referral-gatekeeping pattern that indicates Art J works from a controlled applicant pool and is careful about who reaches him in direct message. And the corroboration from a prospective worker who read the whistleblower testimony in the same thread is itself a finding. A second worker, responding to the whistleblower: "They immediately told me to open a company. Thanks" — documenting that the LLC-formation pressure was not a one-off pattern applied to one worker but a standing hiring-stage filter applied to every incoming applicant.
The whistleblower published in writing. The DM-test confirmed the standing policy. The second worker corroborated the LLC-formation requirement at hiring. Niksen works for MasTec, Ericsson, and Amentum on the integrator side, and on T-Mobile and Verizon contracts on the carrier side. None of those five organizations is in the Russian-speaking peer-chat where Art J's coercion was documented in writing — but each of them runs a certification chain that is supposed to verify, for every site closeout, that the workers on the climb hold the credentials Niksen submitted on the closeout paperwork. MasTec, Ericsson, Amentum, T-Mobile, and Verizon could check. They have not. They know.

Сначала обещали платить кэшем, потом начали давить, чтобы открыл LLC и принимал оплату через неё. Намекнули, что иначе денег вообще не увижу. я узнал, что они многих кинули на деньги и ушёл от них.
