Invertice is the fourth compliance-positive counterexample in this investigation. The recruiting ad specifies: "W2, work authorization — mandatory!" — a hard W-2 employment and work-authorization requirement, explicit and unambiguous. Vacancies (W2, work authorization mandatory!): Crew Lead / Foreman / Top Hand" — same compliance standard, reiterated in the body of the ad alongside the W-2 employment designation and the in-house-crew language. The in-house framing is itself a compliance marker — "in-house crew" distinguishes the arrangement from the 1099-subcontract-pass-through structure that defines most of the rest of the census.
Invertice also appears in a worker's comment about market-abandonment: SLU and Invertys (alternate name for Invertice) reportedly left the New Mexico Amentum market, leaving Amentum to pay $5,000 crew-relocation bonuses to rebuild the workforce.
